So I get a message via ebay the other day from some one who purchased one of my mims oscillators letting me know that this little beauty is now available to the public. The artist Accentor has released “January 14th Session” which features the pedal shown below prominently through out the track titled “d”. Accentor informed me that the pedal is used also in various other places of the recording, and I can honestly say I’m glad it went to a good home. Many thanks to Accentor and all of my other supporters who have a solder monster created by me among their studio wares.

Circuit Bent Toy Chainsaw with On/Off power, Pitch 1 switch, Pitch 2 switch, Pitch control pot, Capacitor LFO momentary On/Off switch, and 1/4″ mono audio out. This was actually the first circuit I bent back in 2009. This little bastard started it all, and I solely blame it for my degenerative mindset.

 UnitOvOne proudly presents it’s first in a series of free sample packs available for download. UOO Samples Series 001 starts things off with a plethora of full uncut abstract material from the workbench of Dustin E. with “DIY Demons1″. Confounded from circuit bent toys from Camp Grey Skull, this pack includes 8 full length sessions of each toy in 24 bit wav format. We decided to leave these sessions unchopped and in their entirety for you to mangle, distort, disassemble, and contort as desired. Some toys included in this round are Vtech Discovery Nursery Barn, modded Throbbing Gristle’s Gristelism,  Kawasaki Big Bam Boom Machine, Barbie Karaoke (also with Granular Delayed version), a Toy Chainsaw (thank you Tamm-Buckle), a Turntable toy turned Gangsta Chain (thank you Hulke), and a contact mic session attached to a half broken acoustic guitar ran through a granular delay. Circuit bent singing donkey toy robot was originally a sad donkey stuffed animal. Sings the classic Motown hit “I can’t help myself” by The Four Tops and dances around (see video). Removed outer shell and added pitch control, RCA audio out, remote trigger input RCA (for use with sequencers), and replaced sound trigger button with momentary SPDT.

4093 Synth pedals based on the 4093 IC. These synths have four oscillators that all interact and alter each other. From rhythmic beeps to detuned drone hell, these pedals make a great addition to the arsenal. Made with a GetLofi.con PCB.

This is a toy that was once a flash light with various nature sounds attached near the light. When the sounds are triggered the flash light will flicker in unison with the sound being triggered. I rehoused all of this in a cigar box, added pitch control, LED audio indicator, swapped out the momentary buttons, added remote trigger 1/4″ inputs for use with the MSA-P, and housed the flashlight inside with a photo-resistor tucked next to the light. The photo-resistor gets some really great sounds since the pitch is triggering itself when the flash light illuminates.
